Once again, Islam puts up big Ramadan numbers: 1,327 dead bodies in 282 terror attacks in 20 countries during its holiest month.

only 1300 dead in almost 300 attacks - Muslims suck at doing what they do best, indiscriminate killing. Losers.
They have a long way to go before they start to reach the amount of blood spilled by Christians during the Crusades. Or the post-Constantinian Roman Empire. Or the Reformation. Or the Holocaust. Or The Troubles in Ireland.
One historical point - consider the fall of Antioch in 1098 when 100,000 Muslims were slaughtered. Or perhaps in the Fall of Jerusalem in 1099, 70,000 when Muslims were massacred. That's not even counting all the Slavs, Jews and Muslims standing in their warpath on the WAY to Jerusalem.
By pointing out that many Muslims believe Islam to be a religion of peace and then throwing these kind of numbers of civilian deaths due to terrorist bombings in the 21st century is ignorant of the bloody Judeo-Christian history. If you're not a Christian, which I cannot imagine that you aren't, you ought to dig a bit deeper into our own history before picking up that rock. After all, this is a glass house we're living in.
Also as Christians we are called to be disciples to all Muslims and their faith. Jesus extended Jewish Salvation to the gentiles (which is now known as Christianity) so why would we not be so tolerant in today's age towards Muslims as the historical lens would probably put them in the same boat as 1st century Greeks and other gentiles?
Perhaps Islam is not THE religion of peace, but is a religion based on principles of peace for all that is worth. One could say the same for Christianity or Judaism and would be shot down quite quickly and easily.
By the way, since you support a website that is grotesquely ignorant and bordering racist - what are your thoughts on the ever popular right-winged website "God Hates Fags"?
That's gotta be tough to support one ignorant site while having serious beef with another.
1) The average number of attacks per day is 4.4 since 9/11. There's an increase over Ramadan to around 10. That seems to have some significance.
2) Dylan: I'm wondering about the point you're making.
I'm not going to check into the root causes of the history you cite nor dwell on the fact that those numbers are really rather small compared with just Darfur.
Are you saying that Muslims should get a free pass until they equal the past historical killings by Christians & Jews?
How far back do we go?
Who keeps score?
How do we make them stop when the number is reached?
Oh, it's just occurred to me; you seem to accept that Muslims stand naturally against Jews & Christians. It seems to me the Jews have a particular beef will both groups. Should we authorise them to have a little fun to settle old scores?

I dunno. I think if I was gay I'd have a beef with all religions, but I would only be truly afraid of Islam. The other ones have been tamed by time and experience.
