A leading women's rights activist is sentenced in Iran...
The lawyer of an Iranian women's rights activist says his client was convicted on security-related charges and sentenced to five years in prison.
Mohammad Sharif described the verdict for his client, 22-year-old women's rights activist Hana Abdi, as harsh. He told The Associated Press Saturday that her prison was also very remote.
Abdi has been in detention since November for advocating for greater freedoms for Iran's women. In Iran women need a male guardian's permission to work or travel. However they can drive, vote and run for office.

Since the NDP's Gay wing of MP's have stayed mute on many of the Talibans action and that Layton and Libby Davies protected a convicted felon who happened to claim to be gay , I really doubt that Chow, Nash,Davies, or McDonough will grow a spine and risk losing the Islamist-Votes in canada by denouncing Sharia law and Misogeny within Islamic tenets as taught by Muhammad's action to have sex with a 9 year old female child.
Feminists won't protest anything unless it's a white man doing it - feminists worship white men and white men only.
Listen to them sometime about how they describe the white man as an all powerful, all knowing conspirator, able to oppress millions at a glance, able to make decisions for millions of people half a world away at a whim - feminists hold only the white man in such high esteem.
Just look at how the FemiNazis exploited the Jihad mass-muder by Gamil Gharbi when he killed 14 female stundent in Montreal back in 1989.
It took 10 years befor a reporter had the guts to use the "M" word that exposed the Sharia Law rage that made Gamil slaughter females for offending Allah by getting an Education instaed of making babies to create more Muslims.

It's no surpise that violent crimes are mainly in the single mom populations with male kids, they are told from birth that they are useless and abusive while having no Dad that re-enforces
how useless Mom sees men and doesn't need one other than a sperm donor to knock her up and get all the Social hand-outs as the Victim .
here's a thought , maybe you females should be more selective when spreading your legs for a bed partner so your child will actually know who the dad is and visit him one day after you lose control of them for the male-bashing propaganda that poisoned them all those years duriny the Victim-hood phase to hide your really stupid choice of a loser to spread you legs for.
