Younger Muslims want Sharia Law in the UK....
Gee, don't they realize they can instantly get Sharia law by moving to Saudi Arabia...
A friend of Coffee House is in touch to point out that the numbers from the ICM poll for Peter Oborne’s Dispatches programme last night, show that a plurality of Muslims under 35 are in favour of there being some parts of the UK where elements of Sharia are introduced. Here are the numbers:
"Would you support or oppose there being areas of Britain in which some element of Sharia Law is introduced?"
44% of those 34 and under support the proposition.

It would seem there should be a number of academics scrambling for research funding about this phenomenon !
I mean the academic community has made huge financial gains by milking the global warming issue , so why not jump into this conundrum ?
Seriously , the children of parents who perhaps moved from places like Pakistan to avoid Sharia are now welcoming Sharia as some form of respite from Western democracy !

Knowing a fair number of these 'youths', if not by name, by reputation..i can tell you that these kids can be the biggest hypocrites alive..take away their ability to smoke hash, drive Beemers, look at naked women, get drunk?

Absolutely, it's the default position..but if push came to shove, would they tolerate this infringement on their new found tastes and freedoms?
