Taliban Jack 'takes it to the tar sands'....

What exactly is he taking???? This is from the must-read Jack Layton blog!
We’re taking it to the tar sands – it’s time big polluters paid their share.
But, hold onto your pants...there's more.....
We're in Fort Smith after flying over the Tar Sands in Fort McMurray, where we saw the devastation caused by the exploitation.
Here's a man who would shut down the biggest money-maker we have....

Devastation?
Best land reclaimation in North America and a history of being Great Corperate citizens.
What I wonder does Taliban Jack think was up there before?
Fact..Almost evrey drop of oil spilled is at sea by tankers, it is much much worse to tanker oil in than to produce at home and pipe to consumers, but at the tar sands it literaly oozes out of the ground,(worked there for yrs) we could in fact look at the tar sands projects as a clean up of the land.

I predict we will be seeing that pic of the ducks stuck in tar sands lake til they become the most famous ducks in Canada.

Almost as famous as the polar bear on the ice cap who after the pic was taken swam off.

I think that it grinds Jack that there are no unions to speak of in the oilsands or for that matter Alberta (government excepted) and yet Alberta has the lowest unemployment and highest average salaries and wages, including wages for people without a university degree, in the country.

All that said, I have no doubt that Jack will the number of NDP MPs in Alberta increase by at least 10-20 times the number he has now.

Jack Layton: I am not smart enough to know the difference between "tar sands" and oil sands, but want to be your leader.
