Naomi Klein goes crazy....

Actually, she always was....and now she calls for a boycott of Israel...
It's time. Long past time. The best strategy to end the increasingly bloody occupation is for Israel to become the target of the kind of global movement that put an end to apartheid in South Africa. In July 2005 a huge coalition of Palestinian groups laid out plans to do just that. They called on "people of conscience all over the world to impose broad boycotts and implement divestment initiatives against Israel similar to those applied to South Africa in the apartheid era". The campaign Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions was born.
Another self-loathing Jew who delights in Hamas rockets being fired into Israel...

I wrote this from a UN tour in Syria in 2005, I thought you might find it interesting: "As you have probably heard, Israel is getting a lot of grief from the recently returned Gaza Strip and the West Bank; they are also getting some internal strife from suicide bombers in their major urban centers, one of whom was intercepted just yesterday heading towards a shopping mall. Like Syria, Israel is also a nation of contrasts; they have different types of religions from Jewish to Christian to Muslim to whatever. They are a very modern country, but a percentage of the population (Orthodox Jews) support the old ways and hold a type of reverence among even the most modern (liberal) Israelis. I think my biggest surprise was to find the amount of religious diversity in Israel; I originally thought that if you were an Israeli, you were Jewish but that is not the case. Conversely, I though all Jewish people had a connection to Israel, but that is also not the case. Israel seems like a Nation who desperately wants to relax, but dare not drop its guard. If the Syrian people appear exceedingly open, the Israelis are more reserved and tense, although after a while they warm up to you. I think they have a lot of suspicions about foreigners. I haven't travelled too much through Israel, but hope to do so soon. Most of my experiences are from the small local towns, the kibbutzes and the soldiers. The soldiers are very young (19-mid 20's) and seem to have their act together, of course most everyone has to do military service in Israel if you are Jewish, if you are not then it is strictly voluntary. We have two sixty-hour passes available to us while we are over hear, one has to be spent in Syria and the other in Israel, I look forward to getting out and about." Barry6176

She's not crazy she's progressive, she thinks in innuendo - incabable of making moral judgements based on anything but her aesthetic inclination. I read a review of one of her books in The New Republic - she said her entire thesis was emotionally understood before she trussed it up in her quasi-logic. The review wasn't very kind : )

I am a Pragmatic Libertarian. From what I understand, many of my views are very similar to Dennis Miller.

Of course, if one "dares" disagree even one little bit from the Doctrine of the Radical Left then in our current culture one is labeled as a Neo-Con.

Anyhow, I often wonder if historians will look back at this time in our devolution (sic) and reflect upon how the Radical Left has so hijacked the English language. The most current example is the use of the word "Progressive". "Progressives" are clearly not progressive so what is the term supposed to mean?

Perhaps in the twisted logic of the Radical Left, a Jew or a homosexual who actively marches in support of those who loathe them the most is supposed to "Progressive"? I have another term for them: Stupidity Beyond Belief!

Nasty Klein's juvenile rants demanding death and destruction keep getting published, it's disgusting that there's a market for that vitriolic hatred.
