Let Kathy Shaidle speak....
She's been invited to a conference in London, and some people would like to see her censored....shame on them...
She has called Muslims "pathetic, whiny losers" who practise "a sick, sick religion."I would love to be in London to hear her talk. Please visit her blog.
She has accused Asians of spreading disease in Toronto, disparaged natives and blacks, and suggested the poor "are no more real than Bigfoot."
Now, controversial right-wing blogger Kathy Shaidle may be coming to London to speak about human rights.
The invitation to Shaidle by some members of the city's Jewish community has alarmed anti-racism activists and provided fresh ammunition to the country's heavyweight politicos over freedom of speech.
"She is a purveyor of some of the most offensive racial stereotypes I have ever read," Bernie Farber, head of the Canadian Jewish Congress, said yesterday.
"Any group that associates with or defends her is diminished by her," charged Warren Kinsella, Liberal insider and author of Web of Hate: Inside Canada's Far Right Network.
"They shouldn't have anything to do with her. They will just hurt themselves."
The controversy has the organizer of the event promising to look further into Shaidle's comments.
"If they are true, I will have nothing to do with her," said Alan Perlmutter, a Jewish activist in London.
But, he added, "I am not going to cancel her until we can cut through all the smoke and see what is being said."
Shaidle vows to show up at the April 13 event at a location still to be determined.
"I will not be intimidated. I am not going to apologize about anything I have written," she told The Free Press yesterday. "This is a goofy smear campaign by name-calling leftists."
Shaidle and fellow conservatives Ezra Levant and London's Salim Mansur have been invited to talk about the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
The three are critical of the commission and Canada's anti-hate laws, saying the laws stifle freedom of expression.
Shaidle recently co-authored The Tyranny of Nice, How Canada Crushes Freedom in the name of Human Rights and comments regularly on her blog, Five Feet of Fury.
Her appearance last month on the taxpayer-funded TVO led to an online battle between political enthusiasts and ordinary viewers.

You are very kind. Seeing my words twisted and taken horribly out of context hurts but let's face it, it is was the left does all the time.
This is like any other free speech issue when the chips are down - let 'em speak and let the market-place of ideas decide how correct or horribly incorrect the speaker may be - whether it's Shaidle or the Sharia-loving, 7th century barbarian Imam at the local mosque. Shine the light of day on ideas and the truly wrong and offensive ones will shrivel like a vampire in the rays of the sun. Driving offensive speech underground will only give it legs - full disclosure will kill it.
If Shaidle is so wrong, I want to hear it for myself and make up my own mind, just as I made up my mind hearing jihadist morons call for the massacre of Jews during the IAW protests.

Thats all the endorsement anyone with half a brain should need to assess what Kathy stands for.
Kinsella has become the perfect barometer for what side of spectrum one should be standing on and supporting if one is to have any coherence of opinion and ideology, any self respect, and any intellectual honesty.
In short I'd much rather be seen in, and keep, Kathy Shaidle's company than Warren Kinsella's - and thats actually damning Kathy with faint praise, since I'd never want to be seen with Kinsella.
Kathy, I will be there, and I know many others will be also.
Go to the London Fog site and you will see why the London Free press allowed that smear campaign by Richmond, Kinsella and Farber against you.
They are all in favour of these human rights commissions and are party to a horrendous act of taking away a man's property who was forced in front of one of these star chamber tribunals.
I wish Canada was not such a nation of brow-beaten, fake-offended pc pussies and had half the cojones Kathy Shaidle has and I believe her opinions reflect those of a far greater number of Canadians than the MSM would lead us to believe.

She doesn't even have the stones to have comments on her blog and she never appears in venues where her "contextually difficult" commentary can be challenged. She would most likely refuse to engage in such a discussion.
She's the coward and relies on a coterie of wingnut buffoons to defend her.
Kathy Shaidle is as phony as a $3 bill. On her site she said, "A commenter at BCF is threatening to file a Section 13 complaint against me. Finally!! I've been TRYING to get a "hate speech" complaint for years now, by purposefully saying politically incorrect things about every ethnic group, including my own, on this blog."
Now she claims that she is being taken out of context! What a phony, phony liar!!!

Also: my reasons for not having comments are well known. Just ask BCL, my stalker: he's spent enough time obsessing over my every word on my blog from 2000 onward to know those reasons by heart!
