The Ottawa Citizen punts on Bill Ayers...
They describe him as a radical..but, in fact, he is an unrepetant terrorist...
William Ayers, the Chicago-based education professor who was denied entry into Canada last January, has now been barred from coming to Ottawa to speak at a major academic conference. Thanks to Tony for emailing me about this. Nothing in the Citizen article about his terrorist activities, and the fact that he is totally unrepetant about he did. In fact, his only regret is that he did not do more bombings...
Ayers, who was the co-founder of the radical Weather Underground in the 1960s, has since been recognized as a leading education professor. He was invited to speak at the Congress of the the Humanities and Social Sciences on Monday by the Canadian Society for the Study of Education.
But Ayers, who was also refused admission to Canada an Jan. 18 when he arrived at Toronto Island Airport to give a speech at the University of Toronto, has informed the society that he won’t be able to attend, said Carol Miles, the program chair at the society.
Miles said she was under the impression that Ayers would have no problem gaining admission to Canada to attend the congress despite the incident in January.
The society had him booked before then, and he was prepared to deliver a lecture titled “Bridges and Borders: Democratic Education in a Time of Crisis.” The society expected the lecture to be a major draw at the congress.
“He’s a big name. We thought he would work out well as a feature speaker,” she said.

Yes and he is still a close confident of President Obama, although he (Obama), wouldn't want to be seen with him. (real conservative)
