As I have stated before Letterman has been lacking on the humor side of things since day one, but I must admit he rates highly as a twit and a jerk.

He's a comedian, on late night television, making a joke about the governor of Alaska and her daughter. Whoop dee doo.
Tell me, do you believe the Dave seriously thinks that ARod banged Palin's daughter? If not, then there is no case of defamation. It's called comedy, you humourless knobs. Personally, I don't find Letterman that funny, but it's certainly not legally actionable.

Look..it's just vulgar. I appreciate that he's a comedian...but this is not only NOT funny, but it's in horrible taste. Could you imagine him saying the same thing about Michele Obama????
Anon at 3:18 & 4:13 - it may have been a joke about ARod, but it was a nasty, vicious, and totally gratuitous slam at the Palin family. Bristol may have made a major mistake, but she has been adult enough to take responsibility for same. As for the girl who was there, what has she done to be the butt of this so-called joke?
Only perverts and Bill Clinton who would find it funny making jokes about middle age men screwing 14 year old girls.
Letterman is a gutless Democrat who fears Palin and feels the need to protect his teleprompter President Obamassiah. He wouldn't dare make a joke about Obama's daughters.
Wonder if the young girl was wearing a blue dress ?
