Chicago gets ready for snow....
Could be the earliest snow ever in Chicago...
Start cursing the weather gods, Chicago.
Snow could be coming to town as early as this weekend.
That’s right, snow. Flurries and flakes.
The forecast says that Saturday night rain will turn into the white stuff early Sunday morning.
If the snow sticks, it would be the earliest recorded measurable snowfall in Chicago. The record was set just three years ago when it snowed on Oct. 12.

I wish I had a webcam in my office so I could broadcast the snowy insanity outside of my downtown Calgary office window right now.
But remember, Environment Canada has said it will be a warmer than normal winter. This weather must not be real.
"But remember, Environment Canada has said it will be a warmer than normal winter. This weather must not be real."
The weather is, without a doubt, real.
Also, without a doubt, Environment Canada considers more than a single time and place when assessing an entire season.
Anon... *sigh*
Environment Canada has let it's belief in the cult of AGW affect it's long term "weather" forcast. It did this last year as well. They predicted last year "warmer than normal" winter and in fact the opposite happened.
Yes today's weather is not the climate. However, last weeks weather, next weeks weather, next months weather add up to make the climate. And it's starting out to be colder than normal.
Read the Farmer's Almanac. They are historically far more accurate than Environment Canada at long term forcasting. And they're forcasting a longer, colder, snowier winter than normal.
Reid, c'mon, all anon is saying is that unnaturally cold weather is proof of global warming. I mean, who in their right mind disagrees with that?
Wait ... ANYONE in their right mind disagrees with that!
