Stand up to toxic Greenpeace..

Let's put these fascists in jail when they break the law...
Greenpeace vows to step up its civil disobedience leading up to climate talks in Copenhagen this December.

What definition of "fascist" are you using exactly?

The fact that these thugs (greenpeace) regularly use tactics that deny the freedom to speech (see their tactics in denying Patrick Moore talking at various forums), tactics that disrupt lawful activities, etc.

So fascism = opposition to (some) people speaking in public + disrupting lawful activities?

I didn't say opposition to someone speaking in public - they physically have not allowed people to hear Patrick Moore.

"I didn't say opposition to someone speaking in public - they physically have not allowed people to hear Patrick Moore."

That doesn't count as "opposition"? "Opposition" can include argument and/or action...

Glad we're getting specific, though. Perhaps I was too vague. (Though I do not believe that my use of the word "opposition" was wrong per se).

So... Fascism = breaking the law [law made, presumably, by non-fascists] + physically preventing people from speaking in public. (Or rather, not letting other people hear in public?).

I know that the word is complicated and contested... but I don't think any of those things are specifically "fascist" (in the historical or etymological sense of the term). You seem to be using this word--frequently--as a synonym for "things done by people I don't like."

Perhaps "anarchist" would be a better description, from your point of view. (That's the first thing that comes to mind based on your description and my limited knowledge. I'm not sure it would hold up under scrutiny).

Apologies for presenting myself as a humourless pedant. And we've only just met (or not)....
