A Palestinian embassy in India....but what about students...

India is giving millions of dollars to UNRWA for a Palestinian embassy in India..
India's representative to the Palestinian Authority delivered a check for 1 million US dollars to UNRWA director Karen Abu Zayd in Jerusalem on Friday.

The ambassador said the aid package came within India's pledge to donate 10 million US dollars for building a Palestinian embassy and residence for diplomats in New Delhi.
But, in the same article, here's a look at Palestinians in Lebanon...
Also on Friday, UNICEF issued a report saying UNRWA-registered Palestinian students in Lebanon had staggering dropout raids, including 50 percent of 17-year-olds, and 40 percent of of 16-year-olds receiving no education whatsoever.

"We are sounding the alarm that the dropout rate is too high among school-aged children from the intermediary to the high school level," said Ray Virgilio Torres, head of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Beirut, according to Agence France-Presse.

"The figure is really worrisome when you consider that half of 17-year-old children are school dropouts as opposed to 40 percent when it comes to 16-year-olds," Torres said. "This is a sensitive age and if you add that to other risks they are exposed to in the camps, there is reason for alarm."

He added, "The youngsters say 'why study when I can't work afterwards.'"

Lebanese laws prevent refugees from working in a number of industries.
Shouldn't UNRWA focus on resettling refugees instead of building embassies???
