Of course, Abbas just won't talk to Netanyahu...
Labor Party minister Isaac Herzog said Wednesday that he had chosen to join Benjamin Netanyahu's predominantly right-wing government after he became convinced during a private conversation with the prime minister that Netanyahu had a sincere desire to achieve peace with the Palestinians.
Herzog called on Palestinian leadership to put the prime minister to the test, saying that, "if President [Mahmoud] Abbas would sit with Prime Minister Netanyahu in a closed room, he may be surprised."

The only surpise would be if Netanyahu hid behind a curtain and shouted out BOO when Abbas came into the room.

I'm yet to get a proper discussion of any value from you or your gay and righters Fred. I do enjoy the lack of sense of humour from you all though.
How on earth can you expect a so-called 'proper discussion' when all you like doing is bashing Israel. You avoid answering questions - you don't want a debate, you just want to lecture us.
You call it lecturing, i call it educating. I have tried many times to strike a debate here and not once has it got beyond people throwing childish names at me, calling me a Jew hating anti-semite or just flatly rejecting out of hand my argument.
In one memorable exchange it even descended into someone arguing with me about what continent Britain and Turkey was in!!
I don't bash Israel, i point out the flaws in your argument just as i point out the flaws in anyones arguments. Just because a high nuber of your posts are concerning Israel, so are my comments in reply.
If you change tact and write more posts about how great the Pope is for example, i would make more comments about your flaws in that if there are any. I can only reply to the posts you put up and respond to the comments by others. If the comments are knee jerks beating me over the head for disagreeing then where is the debate going to come from?

Remember the bit in the previous comment where i mentioned educating Anon? You might want to pay a bit closer attention to avoid embarassment. Or don't and give us all a laugh at your expense instead.
Lucy, by your logic Russia is in the Americas because 0.01% of its landmass straddles the artificial manmade divide of continents.
Turkey is no more European than Russia is American.
Laugh at your expense it is then. Good choice.
