My name is Fred and I am a gay conservative living in Ottawa. This blog supports limited government, the right of the State of Israel to live in peace and security, and tries to expose the threat to us all from cultural relativism, post-modernism, and radical Islam. I am also the founder of the Free Thinking Film Society in Ottawa (www.freethinkingfilms.com)

Can't we just stick to education???

More crazy political correctness from the UK......
Top schools risk being branded inadequate by Government inspectors for failing to promote race relations, gender equality and human rights, it has been disclosed.

They could be plunged into "special measures" by Ofsted under new rules that place equality on a par with exam results and child safety for the first time.

In official guidance, inspectors are told to be aware of “gender imbalances” in upper-ability sets and ensure after-school sport is not dominated by pupils belonging to one ethnic group.

Some local councils are also warning schools to make sure staff and volunteers reflect the ethnic make-up of local communities and feature people with disabilities to provide good role models for pupils.

Last night, the Conservatives attacked the rules and insisted schools were increasingly expected to tackle “social problems” at the expense of educating children.

It comes just weeks after it was disclosed that lessons designed to combat negative attitudes towards girls and women will be placed on the national curriculum to cut domestic violence.

Head teachers insisted equality was already given the highest priority and insisted new-style inspections left many schools in a state of confusion.

It is the latest row over Ofsted’s new vetting regime which has already seen some high-performing schools penalised for failing to maintain security gates and fences.

I think that in many cases this blog raises issues that the author doesn't know much about.
What is authors knowledge about schooling in England and Wales and about school curricula? What is authirs knowledge about social problems in England and Wales?

The only reason this article is here, is because UK conservatives are against something and it means they mus be right.

I'm all for the program if it includes new policies to prevent Muslim, er "Asian" gangs of students from attacking other indivudual students, and to prevent teachers from being fired for promoting all-inclusive student assemblies instead of catering to specific student groups seeking to segregate themselves from other student groups based on religious beliefs.
And to the first commenter, people like you are "just shit" in my book.
