George Galloway loses his seat...
Some very good news, indeed.
It was not been such a gorgeous night for George Galloway who lost his seat in Parliament, and didn't even turn up to hear the result.
The controversial Scot had shifted over to Poplar and Limehouse from the neighbouring constituency of Bethnal Green and Bow.
In the end, after an epic night, he was forced into third place.
Labour's Jim Fitzpatrick, who had held the seat's previous incarnation as Poplar & Canning Town, eased to victory with 18,679 while Conservative Tim Archer won 12,649 votes.
Galloway trailed behind on 8,160 as turnout in the area rose to an impressive 63%.

Britons don't want to elect murderous fascists? Perhaps there's hope for the Islamic Republik of Britain.
