Guess who's coming to Ottawa???

Benjamin Netanyahu is coming to Canada! I hope I get to see him speak...
When Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visits Canada at the end of the month he will be the first sitting prime minister to visit the country since Yitzhak Rabin in 1994.

Netanyahu, along with Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and Diaspora Affairs Minister Yuli Edelstein, are expected to visit Toronto and Ottawa at the end of the month, flying to Canada from an OECD meeting in Paris where it is expected that Israel will officially be accepted as a member of that organization.

The rare trip to Canada by the prime minister is seen as a sign of appreciation for Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s staunch support for Israel, both on a declarative political level, and through the deepening and broadening of bilateral relations in various spheres, including military, intelligence and economic ones.

I sure hope that he gets a more respectful visit than he enjoyed during his last visit to anti-semite Concordia.

The mere thought of scum like those at Concordia attacking a man like this drive me around the bend. Maybe there needs to be some serious "push-back" happening.

Apartheid is wrong no matter what form it takes. The repression of fellow human beings goes against the very foundations of spirituality and religion. More over it is an insult to the memory of all those who suffered through the holocaust, wheather they were Jews, homosexuals or the disabled. It is sad that the sons and dauthers of the very people who were caught in this event would systematically attempt to do the same thing to others, for if they can't realize how wrong these actions are, what hope can any of us hold out for the humna race?
I do hope Canadians make Mr.Netanyahu very aware that the conduct of his government is unacceptable in this country. Such behaviour is in fact also determental to the future and security of Isreal, since it encourages and provides justification for extremist.
The hypocrasy that exsist in Isreal today may continue to destroy the lives of thousands of people with no hope of a peaceful end, or Mr.Netanyahu and his government could attempt to address it and take active steps to improve the lives of non-jewish israelis, giving them a reason to hope for a better lives and greater opportunity. Such change would be the forbearer of a better future for both Isreal and the world as a whole.
