Anti-Israeli protestor arrested in Ottawa..
I went to the anti-Israel protest today in Ottawa. I was on the 'other' side of the street with several students who came out with Israeli flags. There were about 15 of us.
Towards the end of the protest, a young about-18-or-19 year old with a Palestinian bandana came over and spit twice into the bodies of a few girls out in front. He looked ready for more - incredible anger in his face, but fortunately, the police came over and arrested him.
Once he was arrested, several protestors came over to plead with the police not to make the arrest....but he was carted off to the police station in handcuffs.
Amongst the signs out today - one calling for Canadians to have a Parliament, not a Knesset, and the flip side was Canadians need a Prime Minister, not a Zionist. Once again, the event was MCed by Independent Jewish Voices.

I interviewed you for Canadian Charger. When the piece is published I'll forward it to you to prove what I said, that I would report your words accurately.
Incidentally, I question your view that Independent Jewish Voices was in charge of the rally. They appeared rather late on the scene, almost at the end of the gathering. No one spoke on their behalf at the rally.
