Seeing discrimination everywhere....

An article in the Ottawa Citizen caught my eye today. Ontario's Human Rights Commission is being asked to investigate whether the provinces school discipline policy discriminates against racial minority students.

And, what is the evidence - well, there are about 12 cases complaints - nothing more than anecdotes. 12 cases in the whole of Ontario!

But, how about answering some real questions. Do certain racial minorities cause more trouble in school? If so, might one expect a small number of 'false positives', so to speak?

Let's go beyond anecdotes.
