Another Arab Leader denies shaking hands with an Israeli...

Gee, shaking hands would be terrible, no?
President Emile Lahoud [of Lebanon] denied reportedly breaking the wall of silence with Israel over the weekend. According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Lahoud shook hands with its Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom at a reception thrown by Tunisian President Zein El-Abidin Ben Ali, a claim emphatically denied by Baabda Palace.

Arab satellite network Izaat al-Sharq quoted the Israeli Ministry as saying Lebanon's First Lady Andree Lahoud also shook hands and chatted with Shalom's wife Judy Nir-Mozes at the same reception, held during the World Summit on Information Society in Tunis early last week.

A Baabda Palace communique called the two alleged events a "product of imagination."
This is not the first time something like this has happened. President Khatami of Iran supposedely also shaked the hand of an Israeli and that was denied as well.
