A discouraging all-candidates meeting...
At the All-Candidates for Ottawa Centre tonight, held in the Glebe part of Ottawa, a little bit of theatre was quite disappointing. The candidates were discussing a serious topic - moving a parole office on elgin street that is right next to an elementary school. The candidate for the marijuana party saw nothing wrong with that - but then suggested moving the American embassy out of Ottawa. And, that got a huge amount of applause!

Moving the US embassy out of ottawa? Sounds good to me! Have you seen that big ugly eyesore??? For the aesthetics of our city, nay, for good taste, we MUST!
I always thought the eyesore here in Ottawa was Paul Martin and Liberal Party HQ.
