Changing sex in Saudi Arabia...

Why aren't the feminists planning demonstrations in front of the Saudi Arabian embassy?
Tired of playing second fiddle to men in conservative Saudi Arabia, five women decided if you can't beat them, join them.

Al Watan newspaper said the five women underwent sex change surgery abroad over the past 12 months after they developed a "psychological complex" due to male domination.

Women in Saudi Arabia, which adopts an austere interpretation of Islam, are not allowed to drive or even go to public places unaccompanied by a male relative.

The newspaper quoted a senior cleric as saying the authorities have to fill what he described as a legal vacuum by issuing laws against sex change operations.
Yes, let's hope they plug this legal loophole!

I cannot understand why North American feminists can spend almost all of their energy on North American men, who are for the most part fairly decent sorts and face our own discrimination/problems (mostly as a side effect of feminist activity), when the Saudis are as they are ...

It simply makes no sense!

This is so rich! I love it. If all the Muslim women get sex change operations it will solve the inequality problem. There might not be many left after a while, but that's the price you pay. Somehow I just don't think this would fly in Iran though.
