Casualty from a Kassam rocket...
Sgain, all of these rockets are purposely fired at civilians...
Kassam rockets continued to pound Israel's South throughout Wednesday, after one person was killed and another critically wounded in a rocket barrage on Sderot earlier Wednesday.
Magen David Adom reported that a 17-year-old boy was seriously wounded in the stomach after a rocket hit the Sderot city center shortly after 6:10 p.m. on Sunday. Two other youths were lightly wounded by shrapnel, and a third was suffering from shock. All the wounded were evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
Both the Red Dawn alert that preceded the impact and the ensuing panic were caught on camera by Channel 2, whose reporters were on location broadcasting a special edition of the evening news.
Earlier, four Kassams landed in Ashkelon Wednesday afternoon, following the morning's barrage on Sderot that killed one of the city's residents and left another critically wounded. No one was wounded in the attack on Ashkelon, but damage was caused to at least one building, as well as a number of cars.
Meanwhile, Fatimaa Slutzker, the 57-year-old woman who was killed in the morning's attack, was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in Sderot. Three Hadash MKs who attended Slutzker's funeral were forced to leave by a number of irate residents.
Another of the rockets landed near the home of Defense Minister Amir Peretz. 24-year-old Maor Peretz (no relation), a security guard assigned to his residence, was so severely wounded in his legs by shrapnel that doctors at Barzilai Hospital were forced to amputate them.
1 Comments:
Israel should level the neighbourhoods where these rockets originate instead of conducting small raids of single buildings.
That's the only message the Palesimians would understand.
