Stats Canada once again fails to ask questions...

Stats Canada has issued yet another one of their reports that showcases they do not understand statistics and what is import.

The report is called "Employment Trends in the Federal Public Service" and it runs just 11 pages (including a title page).

They have stats on what they call the Core Public Administration which refers to Federal Government employees excluding the Mounties, the Canadian Armed Forced and separate agencies like the Canada Revenue Agency. Look at the chart above....has there every been such a change in the gender of workers in any organization.

I'd like to know the raw stats: How many women/men entered in the Core Public Administration during those periods. Is the government hiring ANY men at all??? Do we still need preferences for women??? How many male applicants were turned down???
