Muslim youth riot in Amsterdam....

And, what are they rioting for???
Moroccan-Dutch youths rioted in Amsterdam overnight Tuesday.

A group of dozens of youths in the Slotervaart neighbourhood in western Amsterdam set cars on fire, damaged several other cars and threw stones through the windows of a police station.

The riots followed the death of 22-year old Dutch-born Bilal Bajaka, of Moroccan descent.

On Sunday, Bajaka entered the police station of Slotervaart, stabbing two police officers with a knife.

Although having sustained serious injuries, one of the officers, a policewoman, shot and killed her alleged attacker on the spot.

The two police officers were later brought to the hospital where their condition was described as "serious but stable."

The police and Amsterdam municipality officials announced at a press conference Monday that a national investigation had been launched into the incident.

The police also added that Bajaka had a criminal record.

Silly Dutch. Don't they know that their cities are Dar al Islam by now?

I wonder if there is anyone left in Holland to fight for that once noble civilization. Probably not in the cities, anyway.

as a Dutch man, happy to be in the US, this story makes me sad indeed. Pim Fortuyn warned about all this in his book "Against the Islamitization of our culture," and was called a xenophobe and a total rightwinger, which he was NOT!(he was e.g. pro gay marriage). After his foul murder, the book was reissued as: "The islamitization of our culture," and a new cover, showing Pim sitting opposite some immam, as if they were equals. Much space in the book had now been given for the immam to refute the arguments. Ah, the Dutch, they still see themselves as the original tolerant society (which in fact they were in earlier centuries, a great accomplishment), but, not knowing their history (it is not being taught, one of Pim's big gripes), they have come to tolerate intolerance, an insiduous thing. It comes from a terrible weakness which the Dutch do not want to face alas. I mourn for the country that I love. I am grateful for this site.
