Some people would have us check chinese grandmothers as thoroughly as younger muslims....
The Government was warned today it risked alienating the Muslim community over reported plans to introduce airport security screening on ethnic and religious grounds.Profiling makes sense. Chief Dizaei goes on to say that "I don't think there's a stereotypical image of a terrorist." He's wrong. Of course, not all muslims are terrorists, but just about all terrorists are muslim.
The Metropolitan Police Chief Superintendent Ali Dizaei said tougher checks based on ethnicity and religious background would create a new offence of "travelling whilst Asian".
The Muslim Council of Britain also said such checks could risk alienating Muslims - the group with whom the Government must work to counter terrorism.

You got to be careful with that kind of thinking . . . Oliver (name recently changed to Ibrahim, I think) Savant was a Brit-type arrested in the recent round-up in UK. Also, there are at least a couple of non-ethnic converts implicated in the June round-up in Toronto.
And we should never forget that it was a Muslim chap in Toronto who risked his life to work undercover to blow the lid of the Ontario plots. I'll bet that there was someone in the UK who worked with the police there as well.
We have a most a few thousand really dangerous enemies, not a billion, and as we've seen, they're not necessarily those who look the part.
