Iran hangs another gay man...

You won't hear the White House condemning this...
A gay Iranian man was hanged in public on Tuesday in the western city of Kermanshah on the charge of sodomy.

Shahab Darvishi was charged with organising a “corruption ring”, deliberate assault, and “lavat”, which means homosexual relationship between two men or sodomy, the official news agency IRNA reported.

Darvishi was hanged in the evening in Kermanshah’s “Freedom Square” in front of hundreds of people, the report said.

The headline could easily have Iran replaced with the Taliban.

This is a perfect example why Canada needs to keep up the fight against extremists like the Taliban.

It's funny because Jack Layton would have us negotiate with people like this.

Interesting that there is no condemnation for Canada's new Government either.

Foreign Affairs, under Paul Martin regularly condemned these horrific acts. Harper and Mackay just remain silent.
