A terrorist plot in the UK....every six weeks!

12 plots in the last year and a half!

Up to six previously unknown Islamist terrorist plots have been disrupted since the 7/7 suicide bombings in London 18 months ago, Britain's security services said.

The plots, which have been kept secret from the public for security reasons, had been planned by groups across Britain since the London Underground and bus bombings in July 2005.

Government sources declined to provide details on security grounds.

The revelation demonstrates the scale of the task facing MI5 and the police, who are discovering or disrupting some terrorist plot in the United Kingdom every six weeks. Up to 12 various plots have been discovered in the past year and a half.
