UK doctors to boycott Israel?
A letter to the editor in the Guardian from 125+ doctors in the UK calls for a boycott...
The Israeli Medical Association has a duty to protest about war crimes of this kind, but has refused to do so. Appeals to the World Medical Association and the British Medical Association have also been rebuffed. Eighteen leading Palestinian health organisations have appealled to fellow professionals abroad to recognise how the IMA has forfeited its right to membership of the international medical community. We are calling for a boycott of the Israeli Medical Association and its expulsion from the WMA. There is a precedent for this: the expulsion of the Medical Association of South Africa during the apartheid era. A boycott is an ethical and moral imperative when conventional channels do not function, for otherwise we are merely turning away.

According to the latest Decima Research Poll, your Tories are at an all time low with only 30% support, compared with the Liberals at 29%.
Any idea why your party is doing so poorly? Let me tell you. Climate change denial, closeness to the GW Bush legacy, anti-Charter of Rights and Freedoms stances, anti judicature positions, and an overt support of the State of Israel is what is hurting the Tories at this time.
Oh yes.....Let's not forget their stupid budget that placated to Quebec....Let's never forget the Income Trust flip flop that will hurt them at the polls.
You are arrogant and obnoxious...You easily personify the party that you support, and the sooner the common people of this country realize that and turn to Monsieur Dion, the better we will be.
We should not support Israel to the exclusion of all other parties in the Middle East. Israel, as a functioning democracy deserves some support, but it also deserves severe criticism from we here in North America.
Just like Canada's involvement in Afghanistan is wrong, so too are most of the Harper government's agenda.
Believe me, I've had my share of Jewish lovers.....I am not anti-Semitic....But take a look at yourself in the mirror and what do you see? A GW clone with a Canadian passport.....Frankly, this country is far worse off since the last federal election and the sooner Harper is out the better.
