Liberals forking over needless cash...

Main headline in the National Post today on proposed settlement of abuse in Indian residentiall schools.

The government of Canada signed an accord with the Assembly of First Nations yesterday that appears to commit Ottawa to a multi-billion-dollar payment to former students of Indian residential schools.

What is really horrible about this proposed settlement is that ALL students would receive money, as opposed to those students who could demonstrate they suffered abuse.

I believe that dollars should only be given out in cases where extreme hardship can be proved.
